Class Schedule
Classes are available in the morning, afternoon or evening. 8 week courses have three hour blocks of classes while the fast track 4 week classes go from 9am to 4pm. Day or Evening classes totaling 120 hours.

You can’t get much more real in terms of training than this. 130 hours of in depth nurse aide instruction. This will cover critical topics for CNAs including anatomy and physiology courses that will help you understand how the human body works inside out – not just on paper or in a book but up close with real patients.

Class Schedule
This CNA course consists of 100 hours of classroom instruction and 30 hours of clinical internship at a nursing home over the course of six weeks. Classes are typically available in mornings or evenings, check the latest class listings to see the current availability.

How much do CNA classes in NYC cost?
One of the appealing things about becoming a licensed CNA in New York City is the low cost of the classes. Depending on the program, tuition can be as low as $1,000 while others might cost upwards of $3,000. One thing to be wary of as you evaluate programs is what’s included. Some programs will throw in things like the cost of your CNA exam, uniform, books, etc. in the tuition while others will not. So, it’s possible that one program advertised as $1,400 could actually cost less than another advertised at $1,100 once all the costs are included.

What are the requirements for becoming a CNA in NYC?
In order to become a CNA in New York State you’ll need to meet an initial set of requirements on top of passing a state-accredited course and passing the New York CNA exam.
