Here are some tips to help you make the most of your upcoming HESI math test:
- Get used to the overall types of questions found on the test. There are four main question types: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Each of the question types will have a different focus and different format of questions.
- Practice individual question types that you struggle with. Arithmetic questions will focus on basic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Algebra questions will require you to solve equations and inequalities. Geometry questions will focus on basic shapes and their properties. Data analysis questions will require you to interpret data from charts and graphs.
- Make sure you understand the format of the questions. Some questions will be multiple choice, while others will require you to enter your answer in a blank space. Be sure to read the instructions carefully so that you know how to answer each question.
